This beautiful day will start at Babbington Park where Annie Smithers and her wife, Susan Thompson will greet you with morning tea and a talk about the farm in the newly renovated Chapel. From there you will have a guided tour of the garden with an emphasis on the kitchen garden and the produce grown there.

Then you will drive the short distance to Annie’s restaurant, du Fermier in Trentham where you will enjoy a light three-course lunch with a glass of wine. You will then be given the recipes for the lunch and an overview of the preparation and techniques involved. Not a cooking class - more like an intimate view of how Annie uses the produce that they grow at Babbington Park and how she incorporates the seasonal produce into the du Fermier menu.

The day commences at 10am in Lyonville and will finish at 3pm in Trentham.

$295 per person incl morning tea, guided tour at Babbington Park, lunch at du Fermier with a recipe booklet.

This event will be held regardless of inclement weather, so we recommend you bring sturdy boots, a jacket and an umbrella in the event of rain.
